Embedded Systems Newsletters I Actually Read

Looking for other places to learn about embedded systems?

I have a confession: I like newsletters. Not all of them, of course, but I actually look forward to getting a few in my inbox every week. You might too.

Here they are, starting with my favorite.

  1. The Embedded Muse: Jack Ganssle's embedded newsletter. His newsletter covers industry news, hardware and software reviews, war stories, job ads, terrible (but good) jokes, and more. Jack is *the* embedded guru. Read everything he writes. 'Nuff said.
  2. O’Reilly Hardware Newsletter: A decent mix of industry news and content from O'Reilly's books and conferences.
  3. Adafruit Daily: Short tips about various embedded/maker topics. You sign up for only the topics you want to see. It's pretty hit or miss, but so far the hit rate keeps me subscribed.

Also, we just started a newsletter for this site! You can sign up to get weekly reminders of what's going on at Embedded.fm (both the podcast and the blog posts).
